The Oslo to Bergen train is considered to be one of the best train journeys in the world. The scenery is breathtaking from beginning to end. It's a journey which takes just under 7 hours, but the times slipped by as we went from one amazing scene to the next. About two hours in, there were the first sights of snow, then it just became more and more spectacular as we climbed to over 1200m above sea level. The descent into Bergen was more radid, and there were countless tunnels burrowing through the mountains. Arrived in Bergen atabout 6 pm.
