Southport was very Victorian and very grand. Our hotel - The Prince of Wales - was trying hard but didn't quite make it. Still it was a good place to have a look at, with the massive mudflats which they call a beach.

As if you needed more to see and do when in Paris, but this place was featured on Grand Designs (indoors) last week - looks amazing Sainte Chapelle, 4 Boulevard du Palais... I sent a link to Jim's email.
